Floor Care
Simple maintenance procedures will ensure your floor stays looking beautiful day in, day out.
- Use walk off mats at all entries to reduce the amount of dirt and grit that is brought inside on to the floor. Place them in high traffic areas to reduce wear.
- Place felt pads on the legs of tables and chairs and on the bases of any movable furniture that is likely to scratch the surface of the floor.
- Ensure that your floor is kept clean and free of grit by using an electrostatic mop daily.
- Spot clean when necessary with a UTF approved Timber Flooring Cleaner.
- Periodically wash your floor. Use warm water with a UTF approved Timber Flooring Cleaner. Ensure you use only a clean, well-wrung mop (it is important that the mop has not been used with any other cleaning products or detergents as this will leave smears on the fl oor).
- Shelter your floor from direct sunlight using curtains, blinds or similar window protection.
